Mojito Recipe

 Mojito

The Mojito, a globally celebrated rum cocktail, can trace its origins back to 16th-century Cuba with the creation of El Draque, a precursor named after Sir Francis Drake, the renowned English sea captain who visited Havana in 1586. The Mojito gained prominence in cocktail literature with its inclusion in the 1932 edition of “Sloppy Joe’s Bar Cocktail Manual,” a publication from the famous Havana bar. Notably, the Mojito's ingredients are primarily indigenous to Cuba, highlighting its deep cultural roots.
